What this shows. The Special Area (about 33,000 acres) is the wider zone proposed for planned development around the airport. Inside it, the Core Area (about 2,000 acres) is the priority zone nearest the airport itself. The new roads shown in blue are separate highway proposals before the Bihar Cabinet, meant to improve access to the site.
